Viktor Shvaiko

His subjects are small, evocative places—especially cafés and other intimate settings—where peeling surfaces, architecture, shadow, and sunlight carry the mood. The resulting scenes feel both observed and gently theatrical, with a strong sense of place.

Shvaiko builds his scenes from dark to light, combining brushes and palette knives with layers of glaze and varnish. This process gives stone, wood, flowers, and window light a tactile presence while preserving the quiet atmosphere of the setting.
