Maya Green

Maya Green's paintings focus on landscapes and flowers, translating familiar natural subjects into moments of vivid color. Her compositions emphasize the atmosphere of a place or the fullness of a bouquet rather than fine detail.

She works in oil and uses impasto, building paint into a visible, textured surface. This approach gives the flowers and scenery a lively presence and lets color carry much of the image's mood.
