About the artist
Charles Fazzino is known for detailed pop art that turns city landmarks, travel and popular culture into busy visual panoramas. His scenes often reward a second look, with small characters and references distributed throughout the composition.
He builds many works as three-dimensional layered images, combining hand-cut elements with silkscreen printing and vivid color. The resulting relief-like surfaces give familiar places and events a playful, dimensional energy.
